During the 14 Annual Award of the International Council of Airports (ACI), held in Brussels, Paphos Airport received the first award and the title "Europe's Most Affordable Airport for People with Disabilities". At the same time, Natasha Yakovidis, the senior manager of Hermes airport management, received the highest ACI award in the category "HR Excellence".
Thus, the honorary members of the ACI jury appreciated Hermes Airports' comprehensive approach to services for people with disabilities. Among them: more comfortable vehicles «BorderXpress» for border control, automatic machines for low-level parking, the possibility of using automatic electronic gates (e-gates) and the availability of a control and monitoring system with the participation of people with disabilities.
After receiving the awards, Eleni Kalogiru, CEO of Hermes, said that it was "a great honor for Paphos International Airport". She noted that the same award last year was taken by Larnaka airport.
