Sunday, 19 August, will be the busiest day in the airports of Larnaca and Paphos in 2018 year. On this day they will serve 329 flights, where about 61 thousands of passengers will arrive to Cyprus and fly away from it.
According to the international consortium of Hermes Airports, managing two international airports in Cyprus, from January to July passenger traffic grew by 8 percent. For seven months of 2018, 5 939 198 passengers used the services of Larnaca and Paphos airports, which is 438 834 more compared to the same period of 2017.
According to the forecasts of Hermes Airports, in 2018 the international airports of the Republic of Cyprus will serve 10,93 million passengers. At Larnaca Airport, the annual increase in passenger traffic will be 4,48%, at Paphos Airport - 13,23%.
If you are going to use the services of Paphos and Larnaca airports in the near future, we recommend that you leave earlier than usual because of an influx of passengers wishing to fly from Cyprus in mid-August.
