At the moment, a cooperation agreement has been signed between the Ministry, the municipality of Limassol, as well as the councils of Agios Athanasios, Germasogeia, Cato Polemidia, Mesa Getonia, Ipsonas, Trachoni and Colossi. According to Anastasiadu, as the project is expanded to the whole city, other areas will be connected to its implementation.
The aim of the project is to meet the needs of the public using public transport services. Anastassiadu added that in preparation for the project, the Ministry of Transport has already launched a competition for the design of new stops, and has also completed the collection of information on the entire existing infrastructure.
