Travel agencies from such Baltic countries as Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia show great interest in the ancient capital of Cyprus. This was reported by the Paphos tourist council earlier this week.
That is why the delegation from Paphos, consisting of the head of the tourism council and hoteliers, will travel to three countries later this month to take part in a series of presentations and seminars aimed at promoting the city as a tourist destination.
The delegation will take part in the events that will be held in Vilnius 22 May, 23 May in Riga, as well as in Tallinn 24 May. Representatives from Paphos will not only meet with travel agents - each meeting will bring together about 50 specialists - but also hold a presentation of the Cypriot tourist product.
The business trip will be part of the joint efforts of Paphos companies and organizations, as well as the Cyprus Tourism Organization (COT) to attract tourism all year round.
