South Africa, which is often called Russia's most important partner in black Africa, is on the verge of a racial war and economic catastrophe. The law on the seizure of "white lands" inspired the radicals, and they directed their anger at the white farmers. And we must understand that this conflict is based on a monstrous lie, which in the USSR was given for the truth.
Throughout the Republic of South Africa, protests against the killing of white farmers are taking place. According to the newspaper VZGLYAD, the number of such murders has already exceeded 3 thousand. According to official data, which many refuse to believe, it is about dozens of crimes, but the record is broken anyway. The white population began to organize and arm themselves.
The situation sharply aggravated this spring, when the South African parliament adopted amendments to the constitution, providing for confiscation of agricultural land from white farmers - on the basis of race and without any compensation. In theory, this is contrary to international law, in particular the 1947 convention on the protection of private property. But the problem is that the "white" South African Union (as the state was called before the year 1961) became the only capitalist country that did not sign this convention. Now it opened the way for a "black overhaul" after the nightmare that occurred in Zimbabwe and brought this once-flowering land to collapse, hunger and poverty.
The bill was introduced by the left-wing radical party "Fighters for Economic Freedom" and its "supreme commander-in-chief" Julius Maleme. He was supported by 241 MP and only 83 opposed (mostly white and supporters of the Zulu king Goodwill Zvelionni). After this, Maleme said that "the time of reconciliation is over" - it's time for justice.
He built his party on the model of either partisan detachment, or mafia clan. Supporters of Malema wear identical red shirts and berets according to its design, to the point and not to the point of waving pistols and previously successfully shrouded strikes at diamond mines with obvious financial gain for themselves. Sam Malema behaves according to the patterns written off from old films about gangsters and clips of rap stars - a cocktail of rampant luxury, expensive cars, gold and even furs, clearly alien to the local climate. But at the same time it operates with almost Maoist rhetoric.
All this is extremely attractive in the eyes of the black poor (the black middle class refers to Afrikaans white with sympathy), and the active role in overthrowing the previous president only added popularity to the former "Komsomol leader" (formerly Maleme headed the youth wing of the ruling ANC party) and returned " Fighters for Economic Freedom "to the parliament.
In amendments to the law, which lobbied Maleme, too, laid purely socialist, if not the Maoist principle. The land selected from the White will not be redistributed among the blacks, but will become state property. What will be done with it, no one has yet decided.
The newly elected president of South Africa, Cyril Ramapos, also supported the bill, which is logical: as vice president with deposed Zuma, he had already promised to return the land to blacks "taken away from their ancestors by white colonists".
Only here are the words about "historical justice" and "selected by the colonizers of the earth" - this is a lie and nothing but lies.
For those who lived for a little under Soviet rule, the history of South Africa looks something like this: the peaceful and good black tribes fell to the evil European colonizers - they took away the land, drove into reservations, established the apartheid regime. Still there were some mysterious Boers that Hitler supported, and this is basically a sentence.
Maybe the verdict, but all of the above is propaganda myths.
Dutch settlers at the end of the XVII century landed on an absolutely deserted coast in the area of modern Cape Town, it is also Kapstad. Over time, they settled the equally desolate bush and highlands to the north and northeast, brought in sheep, planted wheat, corn and grapes and eventually created a unique culture based on radical Protestantism and fanatical devotion to rural life. So there was a new nation - Afrikaners. The Boers (from the Dutch boer - a peasant) are called only farmers.
The first founders of the trekbour farms - moved deeper into the continent in small family groups up to the Orange River, behind which the barren Kalahari desert began, and treated as much land as could be captured. In the vast previously uninhabited territories, flourishing farms have grown, which differed (and differ so far) in giant sizes. At first such gigantomania was a forced measure, but later it developed into a way of life.
Let us emphasize once more: before the Boers arrived these lands were absolutely deserted. Moreover, Bantu-speaking Africans do not live there until now. Even now in the Western Cape and East Cape provinces (that is, in almost half the territory of present-day South Africa), the white population and the "colored" ones that join them make up the majority, and the Afrikaans language continues to dominate (except for the city of Cape Town, generally English).
How Ramapos and Maleme are going to treat these lands and their historical and legal owners is a mystery.
The cannibal Empire
The second stage of the resettlement of Afrikaners into the interior of Africa began after the capture of Cape Town by the British during the Napoleonic wars. The way of life, the laws and the very rule of the British Empire to most Boers did not like. They again sat on the wagons and went to the Great Track, keeping the path to the east and north-east. Now they are called "furrerekerami", that is, "pioneers", among their leaders was Andris Pretorius, whose name is the capital of the country - Pretoria.
Furtrekery reached the Limpopo River and the Dragon Mountains, founded the Boer republics - Transvaal and Orange - and finally collided with the Bantu-speaking Zulus.
A small clan of the Zulu of the Nguni tribe all this time lived by what is now commonly called "mfkane" - "grinding". Under King Chuck, the Zulus had a rigid military hierarchical structure built on the oppression of neighboring clans, and were not engaged in agriculture for ideological reasons, since this was "the work of slaves". Portuguese inappropriately brought in Mozambique corn, which was nutritious than the local cereals, and the Zulus, exploiting the neighbors, were able to maintain a large army. At one point, the earth in and around Zuzuland ended, and the very "mefkane" began - the decade of genocide with the aim of expanding the Zulu territory.
In the course of these events, up to two million Africans were killed, as black as the Zulus themselves, who spoke the languages of the same Nguni group. The result was a bloody redistribution of land in the east of modern South Africa, the elevation of the slaveholding empire of the Zulus and the expulsion of several resisting tribes into deserts and impassable mountains. Soto, for example, founded in the remote part of the Drakensberg mountains the present kingdom of Lesotho.
At the peak of the development of the Zulu Empire in 1838, the first caravans of the Boers with them met. Andris Pretorius did not want war - he had only 460 people on 57 vans, including women and children, but was opposed by the army of many thousands. However, the Zulu sent by the Boers of the Parliament killed and partially ate. There was no choice.
Subsequent events went down in history as the Day of the Vow (or rather, the Day of the Vow), and until 1993, it was celebrated in South Africa as one of the main public holidays. Before the battle, which they perceived as a collective suicide, the earnestly believing Boers gave a solemn vow: "Lord! If You protect us and put our enemies in our hands, we will build a house in honor of Your name and our victory will be sung to the last tribe of our descendants, because on this day they will chant Your Honor. " After this, the Battle of the Bloody River began, during which the camp of Boers attacked 10 thousand Zulu. After three attacks the Zulus lost up to three thousand killed and stopped the offensive, and after the counterattack the Boers fled. Detachment Pretorius lost three people wounded.
Zulu accused of defeating shamans, who before the battle had not competently conducted a rite of invulnerability.
Under Nelson Mandela, the holiday on 16 December was renamed the Day of Reconciliation.
The boundary of the distribution of the Boers to the east and northeast did not move further. Further conflicts between the Zulu and White are connected exclusively with the arrival of the British, who, incidentally, did not confiscate anything either.
Cecil Rhodes, for example, preferred to buy land from the Ndebele tribe, but, of course, godlessly deceived them. But the Rhodes company did not buy agricultural land, but the territory for the search for diamonds and other minerals. Exceptions were the territory of modern Zimbabwe - then Rhodesia, where Rhodes organizedly imported the English-speaking farmers, thereby demonstrating their loyalty to the queen. The descendants of these migrants were expelled from agricultural lands during the reign of Robert Mugabe. But at the same time speaking about "historical justice" and in general about "black lands" is a manipulation of consciousness.
Zulu and Ndebele perceive possession of land as a reward for military and political merit. They did not intend to work on it, but they did not distribute the property of whites to Zimbabwe as a sort of transfer of estates ("dachas") to faithful boyars under the Grand Dukes of Moscow. Owning a white farm is extremely prestigious.
Grace Mugabe alone had two once-white farms, although this girl did not hit her finger in her life. Now something like this threatens to happen again in South Africa, although Maleme lobbied for the principle of state ownership of agricultural land.
Mandela, as he treats him, turns over in a coffin. The idea of confiscating the Boer farms to the first black president of South Africa clearly did not occur.
And what about Hitler?
At the time of the founding of the ANC, now perceived as the Mandela Party, there were no blacks in its leadership at all. Prevailed there descendants of immigrants from the Russian Empire, and the Zulu subsequently co-opted to the Central Committee almost forcibly, "according to the order." This circumstance gave a radical white propaganda an occasion to practice in anti-Semitism, and as a result, really led to fascination with Nazi ideas and the rapprochement of a part of the Boer elite with Hitler's Germany. By the way, after 1993 year there were some white farmers who voluntarily distributed their farms to the black population. All of them were not Boers, but English-speaking. This group is ideologically headed by the writer Coetzee, who comes from a family of English-speaking Boers. And this group of the population has a childish dislike for the Afrikaner Borax, which outweighs common sense.
Now, being alone and isolated, the Boers again closed in themselves. In Europe and the United States, they are not perceived because they automatically suffer the blame for apartheid, which has been fought for so many years by the entire world public. As a response, a course was laid for the "new apartheid", the apotheosis of which became the village of Oraniya.
Back in 1990, foreseeing the impending catastrophe, 40 Boer families led by Karl Boschoff (son-in-law of Hendrik Verwoerd - the former president of SAC and the "apartheid architect") bought out the half-abandoned town of Oraniya on the Orange River for about 200 thousand dollars. The purpose of this action was to implement "apartheid in deed": preserving the culture and lifestyle of Boers without contact with blacks and without using English.
Oraniya is organized on the principle of a joint-stock company, so the colony's leadership can ignore state laws. For example, black Africans are not allowed to work in Oranj.
There were several more attempts to create a closed Boer world, but they failed, mainly for economic reasons. And Oraniya survived, although it does not correspond, for example, to the criteria of the giant "historical" farms of East Karu, where it is located. It is more a symbol than a promising project.
In modern South Africa, the idea of creating Volkstat - the state of Boers, based on the lifestyle of white Afrikaners, is perceived as dangerous extremism. For this, they imprison or simply kill, like Eugene Terrrblansh, considered the leader of the Boer nationalists. He fell on his own farm at the hands of two black seasonal workers after the slogan "one drill - one bullet" was thrown in the masses, and the song "Kill the Boer!" Reached its peak of popularity.
The white population in cities is protected much better than the farmers. There it still controls significant households, in which they literally barricaded themselves. White quarters are decorated with walls with barbed wire and are hung with modern tracking means. But the former business center of Johannesburg could not save - it quickly turned into a gangster paradise, and the famous skyscrapers of the "diamond mile" was chosen by gangs and guest workers from Central Africa.
The level of competence of the police is also steadily falling, despite the fact that the number of white officers is still quite high. The matter is that officer posts were distributed to ANC activists as a reward, and they are not adapted to this work. The killings in South Africa are now greater than in Mexico with its drug wars, and the number of rapes is far off scale - some human rights organizations have counted more than half a million cases.
In a special group of risk, white teenage girls and children in general, as shamans explain to the flock that sex with a white virgin heals from AIDS.
In the areas closer to Limpopo, the same opinion existed about crocodiles, but after several cases of active self-defense on their part, the reptiles were left alone.
In this situation, the desire of Boers to be fenced off from the outside world (that same apartheid, that is, the separate residence of races) again becomes the dominant political idea.
"Time to leave" (Tyd om toe trek) - the slogan under which the pioneers gathered on the Great Track - is now relevant in a different context. Some time ago, South Africa actively debated the draft law on emigration, as white refugees fall under some US immigration benefits. Also, the Boers were ready to accept Australia, which has a chronic shortage of white working population and secretly imposed racist restrictions in the migration legislation.
But the black government can not afford a mass departure of whites, because it will destroy the myth of Mandela's society of tolerance and racial well-being. But in the event that the law on confiscation of farms comes to practice, the case may turn not only mass emigration of Boers, but also interracial war.
About the economy, even remembering scary. Only 10% of companies whose shares are quoted on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange are black, despite all artificial preferences. A simple resettlement of black people from the poor suburbs of Johannesburg and Pretoria to the land of white farmers in Karoo and the Cape provinces can not solve the problem of unemployment. The maximum that they will do there will be released into the fields of goats, which for two seasons will eat all the vegetation along with the soil, which has already happened in Zimbabwe. Then it was necessary to buy in the same South Africa from the same white farmers buffalo, but the soil can not be returned. This story is indicative of an understanding of who was cultivating this very land.
The People's Council of Afrikaner Boers, which unites somewhere up to 40 thousand active and well-armed members, has already said that it will not give up the land for nothing. True, many white people still believe that Ramapos and Maleme arranged all this solely for the sake of the self-pianist and in an attempt to rally the black parties against a common enemy - the Whites. Previously, such a bill tried to put forward Jacob Zuma, but he did not have this business.
By the way, the liberal intelligentsia sympathizes with the "land reform", drawing on purely mathematical data: 80% of agricultural land in the hands of 10% of the population is not too democratic. The remaining 20% of the land is used by black land squatting. "The people of South Africa, if you see a beautiful land, take it - it belongs to you," says Malema, waving a gilded gun.
By the way, according to Maleme, seizures should be subject to land not only Boers, but also their "accomplices". Under attack was the king of the Zulus Goodwill Zveletiny, who through the trust fund owns 2,8 million hectares of land. The king did not say anything: "The earth can not be separated from the traditional power. This is something like her soul, and we will never allow for one day to take our lives, taking our soul from us. "
In this matter, the tribal elite is close to the white nationalists, since it also stands for the preservation of the traditional way of life. True, in the case of the Zulu king, this mode is based on slave labor, slightly disguised as contractual relations.
In political terms, the resistance of the white population can be based only on two legal parties: the "Congress of the People" and the "Freedom Front". The latter even announced a strategy called "Let's Defend South Africa" consisting of six points: agitation of the population, negotiations with the authorities, collection of signatures under the petition and funds for the services of lawyers, holding protests and appealing for support to international organizations.
But a significant number of Boers consider official parties useless and rallies under the slogan "We are South Africa", proclaiming their rights to the land as the indigenous inhabitants of the country. And if (God forbid) Ramapos and Maleme really go to war on white farms, catastrophes can not be avoided. The country may not only be at the threshold of civil war, but also before the threat of disintegration on racial and tribal grounds.
Here already willy-nilly kind word and you remember Mandela.
