Belarus received the first batch of Iranian oil

The first batch of oil delivered from Iran to Belarus. This was announced by the Belarusian TV channel ONT.

According to him, the hydrocarbons transported through the port of Odessa, transportation route agreed in February. From there, trains, oil delivered to Belarus, where it is processed at the Mozyr refinery, television reported.

According to the TV channel, the deal between Tehran and Minsk will deliver 80 thousand tons of crude oil.

In response to the underpayment of Belarus about $ 600 million for Russian gas has reduced supply duty-free oil to the republic. In this regard, President Alexander Lukashenko ordered the government to replace the undelivered volumes of Russian oil alternatives.

In February it was reported that a subsidiary of the state "Belorusneft" - Beloil Polska has signed a deal with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) for the supply of 600 thousand barrels of oil shipment in February.
