The new military doctrine of Belarus, which is the country's parliament plans to adopt on Monday, prohibits the participation of the Republic Army in combat operations abroad, said the Defense Minister of Belarus Andrei Ravkov.
"This (participation in hostilities abroad) will never be" - Ravkov said, RIA "Novosti".
The minister also recalled that "the head of state (Alexander Lukashenko) have already talked about this."
In February, Chairman of the National Security of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Alexander Mezhuev said that the new version of the military doctrine of Belarus established a military-political union with Russia.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has repeatedly stated that his country Russia will not be able to replace one. According to him, in spite of some problems existing between the two countries, "when it was difficult, Russia is always populated our shoulder."
