Work began on the revival of the historic Silk Road. The first international presentation of this landmark project was held in China with the participation of 28 countries, including Turkey.
This project involves the launch of Northern corridor through Russia and the Southern Corridor through Iran. Part of the project relating to Turkey, Turkey is associated with the connection software, Europe and the republics of Central Asia, Afghanistan and Pakistan with the help of the way to China. In other words, Turkey will play a role in the Central Corridor project.
Chinese project "One belt - one way", which is regarded as a major transport and commercial project in the world, is able to change all the known and established balances.
The project is directly related to the mobilization of the economic potential of the countries through which the route will be built, as well as their contribution to the recovery of the world economy.
While this corridor will accelerate infrastructure investments in the economy of the participating countries will also strengthen the trade flows between them. Consequently, the world rankings of countries largest economy may change, too.

Large Turkish investments in the transport sector and ongoing projects show that our country is ready for the Silk Road.
