The number of newly registered cars in Cyprus grew by a quarter

According to data published by the statistical service of Cyprus, registration of vehicles recorded an increase of 25,8 percent in the first quarter of 2018.

In total for the first three months of the year, the total number of registrations increased by 13 002 compared to 10 334 vehicles for the same period last year.

Registration of cars in the salons rose to 11 024, from 8 666, in the first quarter of 2017, an increase of 27,2%, the service said. About 39 percent, or 4250, new and 6 774, or 61,4 percent respectively, used cars.
