Beijing hosted a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, head of the Greek government announced the strengthening of bilateral relations in economy, trade, tourism, according to the Athens News Agency.
In recent years there has been a significant increase in trade exchanges and the number of tourists from Russia to Greece, said Tsipras. The governments of both countries are working closely to strengthen bilateral relations in all fields, to this end, Greece and Russia will prepare a new meeting of the Russian-Greek joint commission on economic, industrial and scientific-technical cooperation, the agency quotes the words of Tsipras.
For his part, Putin thanked the prime minister for Greece's efforts to strengthen Russian-Greek relations and the need to further deepen bilateral relations, the agency said.
