Greece and Cyprus are negotiating with Russia on new arms transfers

Russia is negotiating for new arms supplies with Greece and Cyprus, Russian presidential aide for military-technical cooperation Vladimir Kozhin said on Monday on the TV channel Russia 24.

"Greece, Cyprus - countries that are not only in the European Union, but also in NATO, it would seem, absolutely had to shy away from us." At the time, we supplied Greece and Cyprus with air defense systems, now there is a service, and even more - one and the other side comes out with new applications, "he said, without elaborating details.

Kozhin added that "small contracts" are now being implemented also with Bulgaria and the Czech Republic, new applications for the supply of arms come from Serbia.
