Cyprus is a major investor in the Ukrainian economy

State Statistics Service of Ukraine published on Friday Express "Investing in foreign economic activity of Ukraine 2013 year."

Investment in Ukraine came from 136 countries. Followed by Cyprus in ten countries the main investors were: Germany - $ 6291,8 million, the Netherlands - $ 5561,5 million, Russia - $ 4287,4 million, Austria - $ 3257,5 million, United Kingdom - $ 2714,1 million, Virgin Islands (Brit .) - $ 2493,5 million, France - $ 1825,8 million, Switzerland - $ 1325,4 million and Italy - $ 1267,8 million

Major investments were aimed at industrial enterprises - $ 18012,5 31 million or a percentage of the total investment in the country. Including processing industry - $ 14701,5 million in mining - $ 1668,9 million energy - $ 1530,0 million in the metallurgical industry - $ 6270,5 million in the production of food products, beverages and tobacco - $ 3287,2 million in the manufacture of rubber and plastic products, other non-metallic mineral products - $ 1477,9 million in engineering - $ 1102,4 million and in the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products - $ 1060,5 million

Net foreign direct investment in Ukraine in 2013 totaled $ 2,86 billion, which is two times less than in the year 2012 $ 6,013 billion
