Incredible, but true: a Cypriot policeman stole jewelry and money from the dead. His duties included the transportation of people who died natural death. He was under suspicion when the family of the deceased woman discovered that after the transportation of her body from the house to the morgue, golden rings disappeared from her hands. According to available information, the policeman admitted his guilt in the theft of the deceased's decorations.
The police spokeswoman declined to comment, noting that the investigation was underway and the suspect was taken into custody. A disciplinary investigation has been initiated against him. It is not excluded that he had accomplices, to whom he sold his "catch".
The cynicism of his actions is beyond understanding.
