Credit for 250 million euros

In accordance with the annual report, which is presented in Brussels, President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Werner Hoyer, in 2013 year credit institution granted loans: Cyprus - worth in 250 million euros and Greece - in the amount 1 465 billion million euros.

Between 2009 2013 years by the Government of Cyprus has taken a loan from international lenders billion 1 490 million euros, while Greece has received a loan in 7 897 billion million euros.

In total in the year 2013 Member States of the European Union, the EIB provided loans totaling 75 billion euros, up 37% more than in 2012 year.

Werner Hoger also reported that about 7 billion euros have been allocated by the bank for media development in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and Cyprus.
