The A234 substance formula was discovered in the database of the American National Bureau of Standards
The Russian military found a poisonous substance similar in characteristics to the nerve gas "Rookie", back in 1998 in the base of the spectral library of chemical compounds of the National Bureau of Standards. This was stated by the head of the chemical and analytical laboratory of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Rybalchenko on the air of the program "Sunday Evening" on the TV channel "Russia 1".
"Back in 1998, when we looked through the next version of the spectral library, which is published by the National Bureau of Standards of the United States, and this library contains spectral data of 300 000 compounds and is constantly replenished, we found a substance there that interested us, because it was an organophosphorous substance. And we realized that it must have a strong, deadly effect. Now it turns out that, judging by the name of this substance, it was just the same "Beginner" A234. It surfaced, "Rybalchenko said.
He added that the substance formula was also published in the book of chemist Vil Mirzayanov, who left for the US - after publication it was not difficult for a more or less prepared chemical laboratory to synthesize this substance.
