A Word in the Nativity of the Nativity of Christ
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
We begin to celebrate the feast of the Nativity of Christ, a manifestation in the flesh of our Lord Jesus Christ. He appeared as a baby, incarnated from a seedless womb and lies in a manger. God descended to earth so that His creation, man, could be raised to Heaven.
He became for us not only the Creator, but also a relative in the flesh. In Adam, we became His people in the flesh. When we have a relative, any person we love, we respect - we in our lives look constantly at him, we think that nothing offend him, to please, in order to be worthy of the fact that we are his own people .
So the life of a Christian should be filled with the memory of who is our Creator, but also our relative, our dear person. God Himself descended from heaven and became a man, and we all became at this moment his kin according to the flesh. When we somehow behave incorrectly, we thus offend a person close to us, a native person.
And whenever we sin against a neighbor, we insult and God, who came down to earth today, incarnated with one single purpose - so that we could be elevated to Heaven. We are the heirs of Heaven and the relatives of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The kings and magi came and brought gifts to Him-gold, frankincense, myrrh-and today we come and bring our love, mercy, humility, gentleness, the fragrance of our prayers to our God, and this grace must accompany us all the days of our life and until the end century. By the mercy of the Creator, who descended from Heaven and led a sinful, dying and fallen man to Heaven, into the Kingdom of God, the Creator, who was not ashamed to become a man and showed unlimited love in order to save His beloved creation.
