Hoteliers in Cyprus are satisfied with the level of loading hotels, said in an interview with CNA president of the Cyprus Association of Hotels (PASYXE) Haris Loizides.
"We can not give exact figures yet, as the holiday season continues, but in general we are happy, because during this period the load is very high," he said.
According to Loizides, the prospects for September and October look promising and in November, too, a good download is expected, but further forecasts are yet to be made early. Loizides also noted the "slowing" of the influx of tourists from Russia in the last 15 days, but considers it temporary. In his opinion, this is due to the depreciation of the ruble and the fact that the Turkish direction is again open for Russian tourists.
