Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his intention to build partnership with the League of Arab States (LAS) in order to resolve regional crises. This is stated in greeting the participants of the pan-Arab Head of State Summit, published on the Kremlin website on Wednesday, March 29.
"The most important condition for the long-term stabilization of the regional situation is the solution of the long-standing Palestinian problem. Very relevant in this regard remains the Arab Peace Initiative, approved by the Arab League, which creates good preconditions for the advancement of the process of Palestinian-Israeli negotiations, "the greeting says.
The Russian leader stressed that the expansion of constructive contacts between Russia and the Arab League will enhance global stability and security.
Russian and Iranian presidents 28 March, Vladimir Putin and Hassan Rouhani held talks in Moscow. According to their results, Putin said that the joint efforts of Moscow and Tehran have established the ceasefire in Syria.
