President of the United States Donald Trump informed Turkish leader Tayyip Erdogan about the adjustments being considered in military support for US partners in Syria, the White House said after a telephone conversation between the two leaders.

The White House also noted that the leaders of the United States and Turkey discussed the importance of implementing the UNSC resolution 2254 and the support of the Geneva process for the peaceful withdrawal from the civil war in Syria.
