The deputies of opposition factions in the Ukrainian parliament require the government to publish the text of the memorandum with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), this initiative made by the leaders of the three factions at a meeting of the conciliatory council on Monday.
Last week Ukraine has received funds of the third tranche of the IMF loan in the amount of 1 billion dollars. Kiev hopes later this year to get another tranche 1,3 billion dollars. Internet edition of "Apostrophe" with reference to a copy of the new version of the memorandum on cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF wrote that the Fund has put forward new conditions for Kiev receiving the fourth tranche. In particular, the government needs to spend an unpopular pension reform, optimize the system payment of housing subsidies and develop a mechanism for increasing tariffs for gas and heating.
"We need to listen to the government, on what conditions was taken IMF loan, because if you rely on the information that is made public in the media ... we need to hear whether it is true," - said co-chair of the faction "opposition bloc" Yuri Boyko.
In turn, the leader of the opposition "Radical Party" Oleg Lyashko also demanded to make public the text of the memorandum with the IMF. "Ukrainians should have the right to know on what terms you take credit funds and how we will return," - he said.
Relevant initiative also supported the leader of the "Fatherland" Yulia Tymoshenko. "What is hidden from the country, the people, by the people and the parliament I am asking for a vote, so that they (the government) released the document?", - Said Tymoshenko.
