In northern Greece train went off the rails, resulting in at least 10 people were injured. It is reported by Reuters with reference to the firefighters and police officers.
The incident occurred in the evening on Saturday, 13 May near the town Adendro. The train was traveling from Athens to the second largest city of Thessaloniki country. There were about 100 passengers.
It is reported that the train locomotive crashed into a building. Cause of the accident is still unknown.
Currently on-site emergency is the rescue operation.
According to the first preliminary information from the local authorities, the Russians among the victims there, told RIA Novosti, the representative of the Russian Embassy in Greece. "Now we update this information", - he added.
