Cyprus is preparing the last preparations for a working visit of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiadis, to Russia. Recall, the visit of the Cypriot leader to Moscow will take place with 23 on 24 October.

In the evening on Monday, President of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiadis will attend dinner with the participation of approximately 60 prominent Russian businessmen, Christopoulos Angastiniotis, Chairman of the Board of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA), told CNA. The dinner is organized by CIPA specially on the occasion of the upcoming visit of the President of Cyprus to the Russian Federation.

Angastiniotis noted that the Russians who were invited and will attend the event are successful businessmen, members of large multinational corporate groups. According to him, President Anastasiadis will tell them about the financial relations between Cyprus and Russia and the prospects for their development.

And 24 October 10: 00 in TASS will host a press conference, where, as expected, Nikos Anastasiadis will talk about the purpose of the visit, bilateral relations between Russia and Cyprus, agreements between the two countries that are planned to be signed during the visit, as well as developments around the Cyprus problem.

The press conference will also be attended by the official representative of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodulidis and the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Russian Federation Leonidas Markidis, TASS reported.
