Former coordinator for working with the community of the club of the American National Basketball Association "Atlanta Hawks" Margo Kline filed suit against the club for discrimination against white employees, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Klein argues that she was discriminated against by senior management of Atlanta, including jokes about "white culture." The suit says that David Lee, the director of external relations of the club (black) created an uncomfortable environment for white workers in the organization and encouraged favoritism towards blacks.
Hawks allegedly ignored Kline's complaints, while encouraging other white employees to expose her to ostracism at the risk of losing her job.
Kline spent 5 years in Atlanta and was dismissed in March 2017.
