Cyprus President Nikos Anastasiadis eve arrived in Cairo, where he was on an official visit, accompanied by two ministers and other senior government officials.
In the evening, the President was invited to dinner in a private atmosphere with Egyptian President Adly Mansour. And today the heads of state will hold an official meeting. Anastassiadis will also meet with Prime Minister Hazem El Bablawi, after which bilateral agreements on the exchange of any hydrocarbon resources found on the middle line between the exclusive economic zones of the two countries will be signed. The parties will also sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of air services, cooperation between the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (Cing) and the Children's Oncological Hospital of Egypt, and will also discuss research and education in the medical and biomedical sciences.
Anastasiadis arrived in Egypt, accompanied by Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, Energy Minister Giorgos Lakkotripisa, Tassos Tzionisa diplomat and director of the Diplomatic Office of the President Nikos Kristodulidisa. The President will return to Cyprus today in the afternoon.
