27 April will be the meeting of Cypriot and Russian Foreign Ministers Nikos Christodulidis and Sergei Lavrov. During the meeting, the heads of the Russian and Cypriot Foreign Ministries will discuss bilateral relations between the countries, the Cyprus problem, regional issues and relations between Russia and the EU.
Christodoulidis flies to Russia 26 on a working visit. He is expected to inform Lavrov about the current state of affairs regarding the Cyprus issue (recall that recently the President of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiadis met with the leader of the Turkish Cypriots Mustafa Akyinji for the first time after the failure in Crans-Montana).
After the talks, the ministers will hold a joint press conference and take part in the working breakfast.
